How do I use a promo code on Gaytherings?

Promo codes are created by organizers for their own events, and applied at checkout.

Applying one

1. Get to checkout with your tickets selected.
2. Tap "Add promo code" to open the field.
3. Enter the code and apply it.
4. The discount appears in the order summary before you pay.

Check the total after applying. If the summary hasn't changed, the code didn't take.

One code per order

Only one promo code can be applied to an order. Codes don't combine, so if you're holding two, use the one that saves you more.

When a code doesn't work

Codes are set up by the organizer, and they usually come with limits: a specific event, a specific ticket type, an expiry date, or a cap on how many people can use it. A code that worked for someone else may not work for you if any of those apply.

Check for typos and trailing spaces first, since pasting from a message often brings one along. If it still won't apply, the organizer is the one who can tell you why, and their details are on the event page.

We can't issue codes

Promo codes belong to organizers. We can't create one, extend an expired one, or apply a discount after an order is already paid.
