Articles on: For organizers: getting started

How do I manage orders and attendees?

Orders lives in the sidebar of your organizer platform. Every ticket sold, who bought it, and what you can do about it.

What you're looking at

Four figures across the top: total orders, gross revenue, earnings after fees, and total refunded.

Earnings after fees is the one that matters most. It's what actually reaches you once service and processing fees come out.

Below that, the orders themselves, newest first, showing the buyer, what they bought, the total, how they paid, and the status.

Finding a specific order

Search by name, email, or order ID. That covers almost every support question you'll get, since people write in with whatever they have to hand.

Five filters sit alongside the search: date range, event, type, payment method, and status. Combine them as needed, and remove them one at a time.

What you can do with an order

Open the actions menu at the end of any row.

View details opens a read-only panel with the order metadata, the transaction identifiers, and a full activity log. That log is your audit trail, so it's the first place to look when something doesn't add up.

Resend ticket and resend receipt each open an email overlay with the buyer's address pre-filled. You can change it, which is how you help someone who mistyped their email at checkout.

Download receipt saves a copy as a PDF, useful when someone needs it for expenses or you need it for your own records.

Refund opens the refund flow. Pick full or partial, and the amount calculates against your event's policy. Refunds are logged and can't be reversed.

Order statuses

Paid is a completed sale. Failed is a payment that didn't go through, which happens most often with Tap to Pay when a card is declined at the door. Canceled and refunded means the money has gone back.

Exporting your list

The download icon at the right of the filter bar exports the current view, filters included. Worth doing the day before your event as a paper backup, because a printed list works when a phone doesn't.

In-person and online sales sit together

Tap to Pay sales appear in the same list as online orders, marked by their payment method. Door sales show as in-person rather than carrying a buyer name, since nobody's typing an email address at the entrance.

Guest orders

Plenty of buyers never make an account. For those you'll see a name and an email and nothing else, which is all you need to find them or resend a ticket.
