How do I set up an organizer account on Gaytherings?

Every Gaytherings account comes with both sides built in. If you can buy a ticket, you're one step away from organizing.

Getting in

Two routes. Open the profile menu and tap "Switch to organizer," or go straight to organizer.gaytherings.com and sign in with the same email.

No separate signup and no second password. Sign-in is your email and a one-time code, same as the attendee side.

Activating your organizer account

The organizer side needs switching on before it does anything. Two things to do.

Agree to the organizer terms when it pops up. This is the agreement covering how selling tickets through us works, and it's worth actually reading rather than scrolling past.

Then set up your public organizer profile: account type, city, a description, and a profile image. Publishing stays blocked until it's complete. That profile matters more than it sounds. It's what someone looks at when they're deciding whether an event is real, and a blank one is a reason to hesitate.

Verification for paid tickets

Selling tickets means getting verified through Stripe, our payment processor. They'll ask for identity and tax details, the same as any platform handling money on your behalf.

Free events events don't need it. You can list those as soon as your profile is complete.

Start verification before you need it rather than the week you go on sale, because it can take a few days if anything needs a second look. Go to Organizer profile > Settings > Payouts

Then create your event

With an activated account and a complete profile, you can publish. The event creation flow walks through the details, tickets, and guidelines as you go.

Getting help

Email support@gaytherings.com. If you're bringing over a series of events or moving from another platform, say so and we'll help you get set up.
